We found out earlier this month that Corsair would be launching a range of mainstream "XMS" dual-channel DDR3 memory modules for Intel's upcoming Lynnfield processors. However, if you're hoping for something more, you'll be happy to hear that the memory specialist has also confirmed that it'll be launching high-end Dominator and Dominator GT kits, too.
Corsair's full range of modules, compatible with the upcoming Intel P55 chipset and designed for the imminent Intel Core i5 750, Core i7 870, and Core i7 860 processors, includes a duo of Dominator-branded kits.
The first is a 4GB Dominator solution consisting of two 2GB modules clocked at 1,600MHz with a CAS latency of 8. The second is Corsair's range topping Dominator GT - a 4GB (2x2GB) kit with 2,000MHz CAS 8 modules. Keeping in tune with the Dominator range, both kits feature Corsair's DHX+ (Dual-path Heat eXchange) cooler.
There's no confirmation of price just yet, but with A-DATA, Kingston and Patriot all ready and waiting with Lynnfield-supporting kits of their own, we should see some competitive pricing. Here's Corsair's complete range in full:
