Knowing that Intel's next Nehalem-derived platform is just around the corner, we're expecting to see a wide range of supporting hardware launched from many of the industry's big names. In terms of RAM, LGA1156's support for dual-channel memory should provide an onslaught of suitable DDR3 kits.
Last month, A-DATA got the party started with the launch of a super-quick 2,200MHz kit, and today it's over to Kingston, who has announced a whole range of dual-channel kits ready to pounce in September. That, of course, is the month in which we're expecting to see Intel's Core i5 and supporting P55 motherboards, too.
Kingston will be offering its dual-channel DDR3 HyperX kits in speeds ranging from 1,333MHz to 2,133MHz at 1.65V. The quickest 2,133MHz kit, pictured above, will sport CL8 latencies.
No mention of pricing yet, but expect to see these in stores next month. We reckon the range-topping kit will be overkill for most users, but Kingston's 1,333MHz or 1,600MHz kits might be a useful option for those contemplating a budget Core i5 build.
