I don't want to start something here, I know people like to call each other fanboys and act like children if anyone talks about these things, but isn't this a pretty big slap in the chops for PS3 users?
I mean, all the differences so far, a slightly better frame rate here, or a different look to some of the car and character models are pretty minor.
These extra episodes though, they will be, what, 15 hours? And the game can be beaten in 30.
Thats half a game. If the PS3 version was missing half the game, the Sony bunch would be up in arms, but do it this way, so its not missing half at the start, but will be missing a third in a few months time, and everythings ok.
All the differences between the versions mean nothing, but this is massive. Its an extra third of a game that you can't play on the Playstation. I know Microsoft paid top dollar, but still…
I'd be well pissed off.

I've got an xbox, and whilst being ‘slightly’ smug about it, I know how annoyed and rather miffed I'd be if I had a PS3…. dipping out on that amount of content really isn't fair TBH….
I don't understand why preference is being given to MS? did they really pay that much more?
Word on the street \ underground \ grapevine (all of those mean the internet btw) is $50 million smackeroonios.
Imagine if it was announced that the PS3 version of GTA4 was 30 hours… and the 360 version was 45.
By now there would be some sort of e-jihad going on; there would be blood.
You know that scene in Schindlers List, with the big pile of dead bodies, and the germans firing at it, with ony the little girls red coat in color? It would be like that - thousands of Playstations piled up, while the Sony gamers skim MotorStorm discs at it, the only bit of red being the President of Sony's arse, sticking out from the pile, after being well and truly kicked.
Thats pretty much the deal, but wait a while and release it later, and the PS3 owners aint fussed, as I've not heard a peep out of them.
And now we've all played it, and seen how great it is, those extra 15 hours seem even more sweet. We can sort the story missions out, still have the side missions, still have online, and just as its getting a tiny bit stale - 15 hours more goodness to rub all over our already smiling faces.
So why no outcry from the Sony storm troopers?

And at the same time the 360 version was priced £70 and the PS3 version £50, the DLC isn't going to be free so to get the extra content you will still have to pay, if it was free DLC then I imagine there would more complaining.
I believe a lot of PS3 owners don't really care because they've just got the game and more than enough to do at the moment, maybe when its released there will be comments but I reckon a lot of people will have moved on from GTA then and not really care.
Thats very true, but 15 hours of content for what could very well be the game of the year, that half of us can't get a sniff of?
Free or not, it would be nice to have the option of buying it, would it not? Not just a ‘balls to you lot, you get nowt, they get loads more good stuff, like it or lump it’
Ok if its some tin pot game, but GTAIV? Microsoft have pulled one out of the hat in my opinion. Not in a ‘ner-ner we can play it and you can’t' way, but just getting the deal done.
Biggest game in the universe at the moment, and its got a big fat Microsoft only chunk to come.
I'd still be pissed if I didn't have the option to play because I paid £40 for the PS3 version, rather than £40 for the 360 version.
