MSI has announced the UK launch of its latest all-in-one PC, the multi-touch Wind Top AE2020.
The 20in system, pictured below, arrives as a smaller alternative to the existing AE2220 and hopes to "create a new era of glamour in computing".
Surrounding the 20in, 1,600x900 multi-touch display is a black leather inlay that MSI reckons makes it a "fashion accessory" and an elegant addition to anyone's home.
We reckon the clear plastic and leather combination doesn't go hand in hand, but the £599 price tag might appeal to those in the market for a touch-capable all-in-one this Christmas.
Inside the AE2020, users will find a 2.1GHz dual-core Intel Pentium T4300 processor, 3GB of DDR3 memory and an NVIDIA ION chipset complete with integrated GeForce 9-series graphics. Not quite as potent as the Core 2-based AE2220, then, but more than adequate for everyday browsing and general computing tasks.
MSI includes a 320GB hard drive as standard, as well as a six-in-one card reader, stereo speakers, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, six USB ports, eSATA, HDMI out and both Ethernet and Wireless N connectivity. There's also a side-loading DVD writer, and Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium operating system should make good use of the multi-touch display.
