Remember the useful-looking Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T pictured back in July? Turns out there's going to be a multi-touch tablet version, dubbed the Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P.

Pictures highlighting the system's 11.6in swivelling display have surfaced at web blog macles.blogspot.com, and it's said to be multi-touch enabled - making it ideally suited to the arrival of Windows 7 on October 22nd.

Inside, the Timeline 1820P is said to be identical to the 1810T - meaning users will be treated to a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo ULV SU3500 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and Intel's GS45 chipset. The latter features integrated GMA4500MHD graphics, providing the ability to decode HD media.

The addition of the multi-touch swivelling display is said to have added 300g to the system's total weight, but further details remain few and far between.

Need information regarding pricing and availability? We don't have it yet, but we've a sneaky suspicion that Acer will reveal all prior to the arrival of Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system.
