MSI has unveiled its latest all-in-one PC, a touch-sensitive 19in machine with a “fashionable and glassy” frame.

MSI's Wind Top AE1900: has a touch-sensitive screen

Underneath the Wind Top - a name decidedly reminiscent of MSI rival ASUS' Eee Top - has a “glassy” frame you’ll find Intel’s ultra-low power 1.6GHz Atom 230 processor and Intel’s 945GC chipset. The PC’s also equipped with 2GB of memory and 160GB hard drive.

A 1.3mp webcam’s built into the display and web chats can be held over an 802.11n connection, or using the Ethernet port.

There’s no mention of Bluetooth, but you will be able to move data off of and onto the AE1900 using either the four USB 2.0 ports or the four-in-one memory card slot. A DVD super-multi drive’s also fitted.

Two speakers are built into the all-in-one PC, which MSI said measures 476 x 365 x 49mm.

Low power consumption and low noise output, MSI's claimed

MSI has also talked up the machine’s eco credentials. It supposedly only requires 45W of power “while in full operation” – an 80 per cent power saving compared to traditional PCs, MSI added.

The PC’s noise levels will never exceed 26dB either, a level that MSI said is equivalent to the surroundings of a library.

MSI hasn’t piped up with a launch date or price for the UK yet, but it certainly looks better than the MSI AP1900, that's for sure.
