NZXT, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of gaming chassis, has already launched a couple of tasty looking cases in the form of its Tempest and Khaos products.

Today, it's adding to its line-up with the addition of the Guardian 921. NZXT claims this addition will provide PC gamers with a sleek design, spacious interior, and solid construction - all for the relatively low price of $89.99.

The chassis, pictured above, is NZXT's latest addition to its Crafted series. It's built from solid steel and has room for any of today's large graphics cards and up to four HDDs. There's a built-in temperature monitoring system, and three 120mm fans to help keep things cool.

E-SATA, HD audio and USB inputs can be found on the chassis' front panel, and the clear side panel should appeal to most gamers. The real killer feature, however, is the price-tag. At $89.99, Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT, believes it has "reached an optimal balance of pricing and performance."

Though further details aren't yet available, NZXT expects the case to become available this month, and we're looking forward to seeing its UK pricing. We're guessing Ā£49.99, and that's a very tidy sum. Additional images below.

REAR, 1 X 80 MM

The whole case looks like it was built in 2005 or something and then stored for launch later on.

That's a previous model by the looks of it, certainly externally. I see no mention of 80mm fans on this new one.

I agree these things look hideous though. Perfect for the sort of person who thinks painted wood looks good on the outside of a car.

Nice to see ESATA coming through on another case though. Big thumbs up for that.
Angry face!
Why is there a flux capacitor on the door?:O_o1:

+1 for Antec 300
