New to Rock's 'thin and light' Pegasus range of high-performance notebooks is the 330, which includes an automatic overclocking feature.

Let's get the 'boring' stuff out of the way first, though, shall we? You can have an Intel Core Duo T2300 or T2600, so yes, that means this is a Centrino duo system. There's a 13.3" WXGA screen, so judging from the screen size it's going to be reasonably small and light. There's an instant on feature for watching videos, TV and listening to music without booting into Windows.

As good as that sounds, it's all a bit boring in comparison to the fact that when you plug this puppy into the mains, you get a 5% overclock on the CPU. That doesn't mean the CPU speed steps up from some slower battery-saving clock rate. No, it means the CPU, running at full-rated whack, has another 5% tacked on top. 5% isn't going to break any overclocking records, but the fact that it's automatic and in a laptop PC is something a little special.

Pricing starts at around Ā£750 before vat, and more details on the laptop can be found in Rock's press release.
