PRESS RELEASE
At Computex 2019, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su announced the most advanced desktop processor in the world: the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processor, and launched the world’s first PCIe 4.0 supported chipset – X570.
With this news, we are following up to share more details on the new AMD X570 chipset for socket AM4. AMD is bringing industry leading technology for enthusiasts, gamers, and creators through PCIe 4.0, 42% faster storage than PCIe 3.0 and enabling high-performance graphics cards, networking devices, NVMe drives, ethernet cards, and more.
With the new X570 chipset and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors, AMD is also launching its Ryzen 3000 Ready program. On new motherboards – many launched this week at Computex – users can look for the "AMD Ryzen Desktop 3000 Ready" badge on the box to ensure processor drop-in compatibility.
