Rock Quaddra 64 3.7

Desktop-replacement laptops have come on leaps and bounds in the last 18 months. A combination of 17-inch widescreen panels, multi-format DVD ReWriters, capacious hard drives, and seriously fast mobile graphics cards, to name but a few alluring attributes, have forced most informed users to re-consider the merits of buying a static desktop system. I know that I've been questioning the need to run a cumbersome system, especially after seeing just what present DTRs are capable of.

Rockdirect has been in the laptop game for longer than most, so it has seen the evolution of DTRs first-hand. As you would expect, there are a number of desktop-replacement models in its current range. I was fortunate enough to take a look at a Quaddra 64 DTR that featured the fastest CPU I've seen in a laptop yet. The name should give the game away.
