Trackpads, while quite easy to use, to get tedious after extensive usage. Perhaps the key accessory in Amacrox's NB Kit, then, is the USB mouse.

Mouse wound

The mouse and cable take up next to no space thanks to the self winding cable; nice and tidy.

Mouse wound

Simply pull at both ends to extend the cable and lock it. The cabling is very thin, which, while affording it the ability to be wound up, does make it feel a little fragile.

USB Connector

In the above picture you can see just how thin the USB cable is. We are a little concerned that it could make the mouse less durable, but it's necessary to keep the winder so small.

Mouse comparison

Comparing the mouse to Microsoft's Wheelmouse Optical, you can see the size difference. The Amacrox mouse is very small, making it somewhat difficult to handle until you've got used to it. Even once you're used it, prolonged usage might leave you with a strange feeling in your hand, so using it for prolonged periods, particularly if you haven't used such a small mouse before, might be irritating.

Lights!

Size aside, the mouse provides accurate control over the cursor. The scroll wheel is a little lumpy, but functions satisfactorily.

All in all, a neat little mouse that does its job just fine, once you've got the hang of using it.
