Memory Performance

We've been careful to run each processor's memory at its maximum supported speed, as mandated by Intel, rather than what the modules can do. The Core i7-6950X's support of the 2,400MHz standard elevates it to the top of the charts for bandwidth, but traversing a quad-channel architecture incurs a greater latency cost than on dual-channel Skylake.
