Well people, here it is, yet another chance to win something. This time the prize is a 4GB Kingston DDR2 RAM upgrade kit.

HyperX

More specifically, a pair of 2GB PC2-8500 5-5-5-15 DDR2 HyperX modules, model KHX8500D2K2/4G.

Which of the following acronyms is not a term used when referring to memory?

  2. RAS
  3. SAS

Want a hint? Erm, maybe Google might help? :P And if you aren't sure just how easy the upgrade can be... well here's a demonstration:

Enter here. The competition closes on 20th January 2010!

lol its DDR2
I like the fact that they took OCZ memory out.. pretty smart way to piss on your opponents..
I would love to get these… mainly because I would like to get to 6Gb of memory soon and I need a complete new set since my current 4Gb Crucial Balistix are 4x 1Gb modules. Crucial don't offer 2gb modules in the PC2-8500 series unfortunately :(
Shame it's DDR2 and not DDR3, would love a free 4GB set of DDR3 for future upgrade.
Retro competition! Probably good for someone though.
