Powered by an Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor and 4GB memory, the VX5 features a TwinTurbo mode that users can activate through a dedicated Speed Key located on the dashboard.
TwinTurbo accelerates the processor (CPU) and graphics (GPU) to generate a performance boost for more resource hungry applications - for example when playing a high quality game or movie. When extra power is unnecessary, for example when browsing the Internet, users can revert to the standard mode to reserve power consumption. This innovative ability to switch between low and high power settings with a single button allows users to save battery life, the environment and pennies without needing to compromise on performance, time or efficiency.
Comfort and ease of use in any lighting conditions:
The VX5 features AI Light Sensor technology, which automatically adjusts notebook settings to improve visibility and comfort for the user. The screen brightness will change according to ambient lighting conditions - if the user is outdoors enjoying the sunshine, the screen will brighten to improve visibility. For those trying to work in darker areas such as an airplane cabin, the screen will dim in order to reduce glare on the eyes for a more comfortable experience and the backlit keyboard will glow stylishly for easier keyboard navigation.
