October 25, 2004 - CALGARY, ALBERTA - VoodooPC, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance personalized computer systems, today announced they received one of the most coveted accolades in the PC industry, at the North American System Builder Summit in Scottsdale Arizona.

The North American System Builder Summit is an annual event where major PC manufacturers and component suppliers such as AMD, ATI, Intel, Nvidia, Hitachi, and others convene in one location. VoodooPC was nominated and awarded the "New Business Innovation Award" from NASBA, the Association of Channel Resellers. The award was in recognition of the Voodoo RAGE f:50 - the worlds first and only fanless high performance computer.

"We are very happy to be the recipient of this award" said Rahul Sood, President and CTO of VoodooPC. "On a personal note, I have always regarded Apple Computers as being one of the most innovative companies ever - and at VoodooPC, we have done our best to bring a similar philosophy to the Microsoft Windows market with a higher level of performance. The RAGE f:50 is a fusion of art and technology, it's an absolutely gorgeous looking machine - and it has no fans at all, making it deadly silent.. This award simply validates the uniqueness of the Voodoo Experience."

The Voodoo RAGE f:50 is designed to power the most demanding software applications available. It was designed specifically for gaming when it was first released, Voodoo made some modifications so other versions would accommodate game development, diagnostic imaging, industrial environments, and other digital content creation applications.

"It is because the RAGE f:50 is designed for gaming that it will do almost anything." said Jan Strzepka, Business Development Manager, VoodooPC "This is why it’s been picked up by other industries, silent computing just makes sense - and the fact that the RAGE f:50 is among the fastest personal computers on earth makes it extremely desirable."

Since the launch, Voodoo RAGE f:50 has garnered awards from every major PC publication including Maximum PC Magazine. RAGE f:50 has since been sold to major movie studios, game developers, and diagnostic imaging centers around the world, and new versions of this system are to be released before the end of the year.
