Premium products from be quiet! convince international users and media
Glinde, 21st February 2017 - be quiet! is the market leader in PC power supplies in Germany for the eleventh year in a row*, according to a recent study by GfK. In addition, be quiet! has received multiple awards around the world in 2016 for its products. These include reader awards, determined by public votes, as well as press awards from expert panels. Hot sellers in the product portfolio, like the Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler and Dark Power Pro 11 power supply, dominated the polls. The new 2016 products such as the reverse-flow AIO water cooler Silent Loop, the Dark Base Pro 900 premium PC case and the long anticipated SilentWings 3 fans proved popular as well.

In Germany, readers of the most important print and online magazines voted be quiet! into top positions in all relevant categories. PC Games Hardware readers gave be quiet! multiple “Manufacturer of the Year” titles; the company was awarded first place in “CPU coolers (air)”, “fans”, “power supplies” and “cases” as well as a second place in “CPU coolers (water)”. The community of German online magazine Hardwareluxx selected be quiet! for a first place in the categories “air cooler”, “water cooler”, “fan” and “power supply” and for a second place in the “case” section.
The success of be quiet!’s premium product also extends to the rest of Europe. Readers of Hardware.info (the Netherlands) awarded the SilentWings 3 fan as best fan of the year, and the SilentWings 3 fan and Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler were selected best in their respective categories in a reader poll by Cowcotland in France.
Many North American online magazines voted be quiet! products into top positions as well. Canadian YouTubers Hardware Canucks selected the Dark Base Pro 900 as best case of the year. TechSpot listed the Dark Rock Pro 3 as one of the best coolers of the year and Dark Base Pro 900 among the best cases. Overclockers Club awarded the Silent Base 600 the honor of best case of the year as well.
In the European Hardware Awards, the community of all participating magazines and websites voted the SilentWings 3 fan as best fan of the year, while the expert panel, consisting of editors of the involved websites, awarded Dark Rock Pro 3 and Dark Power Pro 11 as best CPU cooler and best power supply series for the second year in a row.
