IWILL P4HT-S 845PE MOTHERBOARD REVIEW

It seems as if everyone wants to get in on the Intel act. We've probably seen a greater number of motherboard manufacturers take up Intel's newest DDR chipset than ever before. With Intel's market position as a producer of high-quality chipsets seemingly secure, the success of any new chipset is generally ensured from the very start. The latest DDR chipset, the i845PE, now brings a couple of new features to the table. We now have official support for DDR333 memory (about time), and support for the upcoming Hyper-Threading-enabled P4s.

In recent times, Iwill have not been too visible in Intel's world. It appears as if that is about to change with the introduction of at least 2 i845PE-based motherboards. It's also safe to say that Iwill's philosophy lies in providing the end user with features and performance.

Today we're casting our reviewing eye over the premium i845PE motherboard in the Iwill P4T-S. Stacked with features and presented like few other motherboards we've seen, it looks relatively good on paper. Now's the time to find out if paper specifications can translate into real-world benefits and performance. It certainly looks like an interesting motherboard.
