During the weekend of 5th and 6th December 2009, Activision are encouraging British Gamers to go online and play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live to help raise money for a very good cause .

As part of the GAME for Good campaign, Activision have teamed up with its long-standing charity War Child along with Microsoft and retailer GAME to celebrate the popularity of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and generate a life changing donation to the War Child charity. The more people who participate, the higher the donation amount that will be paid. GAME has also produced a limited edition set of War Child / GAME for Good / Modern Warfare 2 co-branded wrist-bands and will also be donating the proceeds to charity.

The GAME for Good campaign is open to all British Gamers who take part in Multiplayer or Special Ops gameplay modes on Xbox Live during the course of Saturday 5th (00:00:01) and Sunday 6th December (23:59:59).
