My Fanny has unearthed a .bean in San Francisco that we think will tickle the fancy of those people who are looking for some full-on 12-pipe 3D graphics action, costing more than the X800 GT which ATi recently announced, but less than its RADEON X800 XL. (see our two reviews for more info.)
It's in the form of another new skew from ATi, the RADEON X800 GTO and is based upon some new ASICs, the R480 PRO, R430 PRO and R423 PRO ASICs.
Here's what we've got so far:
ATi RADEON X800 GTO
- 12-pipe 3D engine with 256-bit memory interface
- 256MB variants will feature a 400MHz VPU core and 490MHz GDDR-3 frequency
- 128MB models will feature a 400MHz VPU core and 350MHz DDR-1 frequency
What's behind the launch of ATi RADEON X800 GTO?
