Computex 2005: ABIT heatpipes the C19

ABIT have revealed their cooling solution for the NI8 SLI, with a funky heatpipe drawing off from the Northbridge to a set of fins mounted on the back panel of the board. Airflow through these to whip the heat away will be the residual draught created by your GFX, CPU and any case fans you have fitted.

The NVIDIA C19 board we saw supports LGA775 with 1066MHz FSB, up to 8 Gig dual DDR2 667 with built in ABIT µGuru, Silent OTES and 7.1 channel AudioMAX technology with S/PDIF in and out. Additionally, the NI8 has 6 SATA ports supporting up to 3 Gb/s RAID, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 3 IEEE 1394a ports and NVIDIA GbE LAN all on board… so I’d call that fairly feature packed, no?
