In Hall 4 at Computex, if you look hard enough on VIA's joint show area with S3 Graphics, you'll see them showing off a K8T890 Pro reference board running NVIDIA SLI. Word around Computex is that vendors are waiting for NVIDIA to release a driver that'll work with non-NVIDIA chipsets, but how forthcoming that'll be seems to depend on them submitting their hardware to NVIDIA for testing, and for NVIDIA to take the hit (however small) in chipset sales.

Regardless, you won't need nForce4 SLI to do SLI with AMD processors, should NVIDIA give the go-ahead. Here's some pictorial evidence.

Interestingly, right next to that system is another one, this time powered by PT880 Pro Pentium 4 core logic, running an X850 XT Platinum Edition and a Radeon X700, for quad-display VIA DualGFX.
