Touchmate bring a new dimension to sound

At CTS 2005, Touchmate, manufacturers of a wide range of PC peripherals, from cases and digital cameras through to mice and keyboards were showing of their range of headsets with the superbly named Touchmate Vibrator leading the line up.

Featuring a 40mm Cobalt driver unit and 32 Ohms impedance the earphones have a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz and with gold plated connectors, sound clarity should be good to say the least.

The Vibration control has two levels of response and runs of an inline battery pack giving roughly 30 hours of gameplay. The vibration motor kicks in when low bass noises are played or heard… so rumbling explosions really rumble!

The Vibrator, (sorry, I just LOVE that name), is part of Touchmate’s comprehensive headset line-up aimed at catering for all tastes and budgets.

Bharat Janani, director, also showed off their new 6.6 mega pixel digital camera which is only a little large than most MP3 players… whish is handy as it has one of them built in too! The little beauty is also able to shoot video, be used as a web cam and is compatible with SD/MMC memory cards for expansion of its 16MB internal memory.

Check out the Touchmate website at www.touchmate.co.uk, though the Vibrator headphones are so new, they’re not on it yet.
