The Bloodline LAN is coming, and it’s coming soon!

Clear your calendar, take a sickie from work and excuse yourself from your loved ones, you’ve got some serious gaming to do. Sure, you’ve read about massive LANs before, perhaps even been to a few, but this one’s special. Why? Well read on.

First off, it’s sponsored by some of the seriously big names in gaming. We’ve got Intel, Jolt, and Corsair to name some of the biggies, plus HEXUS.net are also making more than a passing appearance with a booth and stage appearances from some of the key figures within the team. And if that weren’t enough, HEXUS.net will be providing near continuous LIVE coverage of the entire event too!

The venue couldn’t be finer, being at Black Island Studios, the largest film and TV studios in central London… Bloodline is using the largest of them with 16,000 sq ft of space for gamers to battle out over an ultrafast LAN…. But how many PCs can you cram into that much space? 16,000 sq ft sounds a lot, but just how big is it? Well, Jolt reckon that’ll nicely seat 400 players. Yep, you read that right… 400!

With that many people there, this is sure to put the ‘party’ into ‘LAN party’. And if that weren’t enough, they’ve organised plenty of food on-site with the likes of McDonalds or even a Dominoes Pizza waiter to take your order as you play! Those lovely people at Jolt and Intel have thought of everything, even setting aside another studio for between game dossing down for those of you too tight to spring for one of the nearby hotels.

Interested? You should be. The three day event runs from the 3rd to the 5th December and is extremely reasonably priced at just £39.95 for all three days. You can even bring the rellies along to watch you pwn everyone as spectator tickets are available for the paltry fee of £5.

Now, if you needed anymore persuading, how about being able to watch the final of the Intel Pentium 4 Processor Extreme Edition Challenge? This is a little competition that Intel and the 4Kings clan have been running to whittle down 100 entrants to just 8 who will be playing off to the last 2. After the dust has settled and the mouse mats cooled off those last 2 will be going to the Winter CPL in America on a fully paid trip to play for some serious money as part of the 4Kings clan.

All in all, this is going to be an unmissable LAN and certainly one of the biggest e-sports event the UK has seen so far.
