Introduction
Our Q1 2004 In Review article went down well. The brief and (mostly) accurate information seemed to be just what the doctor ordered. And with nearly a month of Q2 done, I'm well overdue with today's Q2 article. A combination of floating roadmap dates from AMD, making it hard to pin down dates for things, and our GeForce 6800 Ultra coverage, made it difficult to get started.This quarter's article will cover the same companies as last time: Intel, AMD, VIA and SiS, but without explicit Q2 roadmaps from a couple of those companies. Information on them will either be projections from existing roadmaps, or informed speculation. I'll be sure to note when that's the case.
