Inside - storage

Like the P180, the P182's twin internal hard-drive caddies can hold six HDDs - four in the one that lives in the bottom chamber and two in the one above.

A single externally-accessible 3.5in bay sits between the two caddies.

The available space between the top-most caddy and the front is pretty limited so any optional fan you decide to put there needs to have a pretty low profile.

The top caddy differs from the bottom one by using trays to hold its two HDDs in place. These leave plenty of space between the drives, so they should stay pretty cool if you do decide to add a fan at the front.

Antec also includes a wire bracket for an optional 120mm fan that attaches to the top caddy.

However, using this restricts you to having HDDs in the bottom caddy (or using HDDs fitted with brackets in the 5.25in bays). We'd likely choose to use the top caddy, though, because we rather like the HDD trays that it provides.
