Summary
Results for our gaming tests are muddied slightly by the fact that the Intel-based boards are tested using graphics cards based on ATI Radeon, while the NVIDIA boards use GeForce 7900GTXs.
The overall results show each set of motherboards performing near identically for the same GPU, consistently within two per cent of each other in all tests, with the overall winner being decided by the brand of GPU favoured by the individual tests.
The 16x + 4x PCIe arrangement of P35 and P965 does not appear to hamper it in the Splinter Cell multi-GPU test, with near identical results to the 975x.
