A S.T.A.L.K.E.R themed (and branded) bundle accompanies the AMD HD2900XT powered iteration of ASUS's latest graphics solution, details of which have been announced today.

ASUS promise a plethora of explosive gaming titles as part of the bundle, from the (obvious) S.T.A.L.K.E.R, and as part of Valve's 'The Black Box' suite, three titles comprising of Half Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. The three titles part of Valve's 'The Black Box' suite will be available for download via Steam, later this year, state ASUS, whilst in the meantime, users will enjoy a complimentary copy of another Valve title, Day of Defeat.

The company, though encompassing the reference HD2900XT cooling solution, have made their solution that much more unique by branding it,Ā  S.T.A.L.K.E.R style, as can be seen below.

AMD's long awaited HD2900XT graphics processing unit (GPU) is of course the fuel source of ASUS's newest graphics card, and finds AMD finally throwing their hat into the DirectX 10 graphics ring.

A core clock speed of 740MHz and memory speeds of 1.65GHz (825MHz DDR3) are the bread and butter specifications of the card, together with 512MB of onboard DDR3 memory completing the mix.

ASUS go on to describe a unique feature, found only on ASUS solutions, that being 'Splendid Video Intelligence Technology', which when enabled, allows for the graphics card to deliver vibrant visual representations, in conditions most favourable to the human eye. This feature works in addition to AMD's Avivo HD Technology hence, according to ASUS, offering paramount levels of sharpness in decoded videos.

ATI Catalyst Driver Software is supported by ASUS's own Gamer OSD which allows for users to dabble in on-the-spot overclocking, as well as chat options during gameplay.

ASUS's bundle comes complete with a DVI to VGA adapter, Component HDTV adapter, DVI to HDMI adapter, CrossFire Bridge Interconnector, VIVO cable and PowerCable 2.
