A new addition to OCZ Technology's range of Secure Digital HC (SD High Capacity) memory cards, has been ushered in today.

The new members of the family are Speed Class 6 rated parts, available in 4GB and 8GB capacities, which also boast SDA 2.00 specification compatibility and ensure a minimum write speed of 6MB/sec.

As the parts are SDA 2.00 compliant, they do not offer backward compatibility with SD compliant devices, however OCZ cite that an increasing number of next generation devices are expected to host SDHC memory.

Backed up with a three year warranty, OCZ describes how the range is well suited for use with the most advanced digital cameras and electronics.
