NVIDIA's superior OpenGL drivers allow not just the NX8600GTS but also the Fatal1ty 7600GT to take the fight to ASUS's EAX1950PRO.
The EAX1950PRO is just able to edge out the NX8600GTS at both resolutions, but the Fatal1ty 7600GT is able to take 2nd place at 1600x1200, suggesting the NX8600GTS should have more to give in future driver revisions.
As expected the Inno3D iChiLL 7900GS is able to take a comfortable victory overall.
As in Far Cry the NX8600GTS's performance scaling from 1280x1024 4xAA 8xAF to 1600x1200 0xAA 8xAF is lower than expected, and this allows the Fatal1ty 7600GT to demote it to last place at the UXGA resolution.
