The Reaper HPC series of memory from OCZ Technology has been recently expanded with the announcement of a new PC2-9200 variant.

Following on from the PC2-8500 Reaper HPC memory kit which saw the birth of OCZ's Reaper HPC series, the PC2-9200 modules features OCZ's signature Reaper HPC (Heat Pipe Conduit) heat-spreader that apparently delivers superior heat dissipation capabilities, whilst being silent.

The Reaper HPC heat-spreader is the first implementation of heat-pipe technology for memory modules, using phase change technology, states OCZ.

Available in 2GB dual channel kits, the new PC2-9200 series will deliver DDR2 speeds of 1150MHz at rated timings of 5-5-5-18. VDIMM requirements are set at 2.30V, whilst OCZ's EVP limit of 2.35V will allow enthusiasts to push their modules to this level without invalidating the lifetime warranty that the modules are graced with.
