PC2-6400 NVIDIA® SLI™ certified memory modules, specifically optimised for current and next generation nForce® platforms and boasting 1T command rate functionality have been announced by OCZ Technology today.

The modules feature OCZ's exclusive black SLI-Ready XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader combined with 4-4-4-15 timings at an 800MHz data rate. Also featuring NVIDIA® Enhanced Performance Profles (EPP), the performance offered by the modules is optimised on nForce® SLI powered motherboards.

OCZ are particularly excited about the achievement of maintaining a 1T command rate at high operating frequencies and the new memory range is the first to meet the criteria required by NVIDIA® for qualification as 1T SLI memory at high speeds.

We are of course very interested in determining how high these modules can be pushed above PC2-6400 speeds, whilst still maintaining the 1T command rate and determining what performance benefits are realised in a real-world environment, over a theoretical one.

If this has piqued your interest, why not read the press release here?

Knowing OCZ, they'll probably want something silly like 2.5V to get it working.
