The Antec P190

CeBIT logo - bottom

Fresh on the heels of our coverage of the new P182 we bring you its bigger brother. The P190 is the same height as the P182 but slightly wider and much deeper and featuring a re-designed power chamber containing the two power supplies included as standard. These are 650W and 550W watt units.

The rear of the chassis features three switches up the top to control the pre-fitted Tri-Cool fans and the single 120mm fan from the P180 has been swapped out for two 140mm units. Just like the P182 chassis, the P190 features pre-prepared water cooling holes on the rear.

The side panel of the P190 features a 200mm fan with a built in filter. Although they have cut into the side panel Antec have kept the soundproofing that featured in previous designs.

Just like the P182 we will have one of these in for review shortly.

The new 25mm profile fan in the bottom chamber means there is more room in the P182 and P190 chassis.

25cm? or 250mm :)Quote
25mm

I am talking profile not size.

Nice try tho :pQuote
I like the case...but seriously who the hell needs two PSUs???? I hope they make a version of this case with room for only one PSU so it isnt as tall.Quote
as i said :D

yea um, less space because the bottom is probably reserved for watercooling components... *not for the average pc builder.*

It seems like Antec is jumping on the 'build your own hoover' bandwagon once again with all those fans, which is a shame, considering the P180 and P150 can actually work rather well as silent but powerful setups.
Still, I can understand that this is going to be sought after by some who need/want that amount of cooling, so fair play :)Quote
