Not content with dominating the PC memory market, Corsair have now set their sights on the hip computer market. With the introduction of a new range of memory specifically developed for Mac users.

The kits on show were 2 and 3GiB PC2-5300 packs, the latter of which are specifically aimed at replacing your entire memory stocks in your MacBook. Upon checking we found that these parts were already available at Scan, with the 2 GiB pack coming in at just under £100 and the 3 GiB coming in at an eye watering £352.50.

Comparing these prices with the current upgrade costs at the Apple store these Corsair parts are significantly cheaper, although the 3GiB specification isn’t available through Apple.
