Introduction

Chaintech Zenith ZNF3-250 nForce3 250 Motherboard

Being first to market with a particular product, if done correctly, can often pay huge dividends. New chipset iterations are followed by a flood of motherboards from anyone who's anyone, so getting it right immediately puts a manufacturer in the driving seat. That's exactly what Chaintech has sought to do by releasing one of the first commercially available nForce3 250 boards. Ryszard took a look at the chipset, here, so familiarise yourself if need be.

Chaintech's not stopping there, oh no. The Zenith ZNF3-250 arrives with a bundle that make the postman's back hurt. Initial retail motherboards based on new chipsets can either be works in progress, i.e need serious BIOS overhauls, or work straight from the get go. Let's see how Chaintech does with a promising board.
