Cooler coolers

Thermaltake was also showing at Gitex, albeit with a small stand, but it still managed to bring a fair number of new products to the market. Buried deep inside a water-cooled Kandalf system was something that caught our eye; a single-slot memory DIMM water-cooling unit.

Using a padded-foam interface material, the cooling unit slides over the dimm, although the amount of space between the DIMMs themselves would be minimal, if anything at all. Also new to its water-cooling range is an as yet un-named CPU block, featuring a pure copper base with heat-pipes and fins underneath the polyresin block top.

You have to question what use heat-pipes will be submerged in chilled water, but hopefully we will get the chance to test it out in the near future.
