So far this year, Corsair says it's had bumper sales of its premium modules, surpassing the mighty one million units mark.

Come the end of the year, the company expects gaming module sales to have grown 30% on last year. Corsair's XMS and Dominator lines make up their premium market, and the uptake of DDR2 RAM has no doubt helped the company's growth.

So, to celebrate shipping 1 million premium units this year, Corsair is having a competition. It's giving away five sets of gold plated DDR2-8888C4DF Dominator modules, certified to operate at a splendid 1111MHz.

Gold Dominators

To enter, you must write an essay, no more than 200 words long, on "Why I love Corsair".

So, if you love Corsair, get writing; the competition runs from now until the 14th November, and the winners of the gold plated modules will be announced on Corsair's website on 1st December. Send your entries to contest@corsairmemory.com.

Way to go :D, at least they release something flashier than Crucial 10th Anni modules.

But the price tag may put most people off.
that would be where the GIVING AWAY bit comes in
Lol, I'm rarely been blessed with good luck, and 5 sets make it to about £1500 giveaway if they were 2GB each kit. Not much from a “successful” company point of view :P

But I guess it's worth giving a shot.
yeh but they are gold plated so i guess they cost a bit more lol.
