Introduction

Hello, dear reader. I have a few questions to ask you, if you've got a couple of minutes. You do? Brilliant, thanks for stopping by. Are you a high-end computer user by any chance? You are? Excellent, and are you by any chance looking to upgrade your system in the near future? Cool, and are you looking towards Core 2 Duo now, and maybe Intel quad-core processors when they arrive? Superb, then maybe you can do one last thing for me.

Please describe the perfect mainboard for that system spec that's in your head. Think about it for a bit and please take your time. Tell me whenever you're ready.

Finished? Winner, tell me all about it. Support for lots of memory, maybe even 8GiB? 'k. Completely flexible PCI Express, for graphics and peripherals, check. Overclocks like a World champ, and a couple of PCI slots for your X-Fi and your PhysX too? Yes, likewise. Anything else?

Front-panel connectors that don't suck, enough SATA2 ports to attach terrabytes of storage, maybe in RAID, and layout that borders on perfection. Me too, me too! So what if I told you such a mainboard existed. You want to read all about it?

Follow us then!
