With everyone and their dog looking to try and get some form of PC into your living room, it comes as no surprise that the HEXUS Best Multimedia Product Award was filled with a baffling number of contenders. We had it all from media extenders to full blown systems you could park a car in through to MP3 players in the shape of cats that ran small movie files too. But one product alone grabbed our attention and waltzed off with the Best Multimedia Product Award and the honours go to the ECS EKT Multimedia media center PC.
'Must Have' Product
When we came up with the Award categories, we thought that this one would be the hardest to decide a winner for. After all, everyone in Team HEXUS is a technophile so any new bit of kit worth its salt is going to get us excited. But we were all presently surprised when, by unanimous agreement we decided on the winner for the prestigious ‘Must Have’ Award.To qualify as winner, this is the product that we agreed we’d sell elderly relatives for, something that would annoy us if we didn’t own it and that we’d love if we did have it. So it’s no surprise that Intel take the Award for ‘Must Have’ product with the mighty Conroe CPU.
