A girthy beast featuring dual GeForce go graphics for SLI, along with a high-res 17" screen.
This laptop, the Quest Nemesis, follows in the footsteps of Eveshams even girthier 19" model. It features everything you'd expect from a desktop, in a little not-really-all-that-portable chassis... two hard drives (RAIDed, of course), dual 256MiB GeForce Go 7900s, 1GiB RAM, a 12-cell battery (at least they've given you half a chance at a reasonable battery life), a few other things... and a v90 56k modem, yay!
The screen has a resolution of 1680x1050. So very nearly able to handle 1080p HD natively, but not quite. Still, if that's a problem, Evesham have a couple of upgrades you might fancy...
Two upgrades are available to create an extreme specification, ideal for hard-core gamers: Upgrade to a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) screen for only £50 Inc VAT, alternatively upgrade to both a WUXGA screen and 2 x 512Mb graphics for £150 Inc Vat.
Twisted your arm enough to make you part with £1499? You decide. More info can be found in Evesham's press release.
