A fair few trade shows have been hit by the economic downturn - both in terms of exhibitors and attendees - but the Consumer Electronics Show appears to be as healthy as ever.
The annual gadget-fest, held in fabulous Las Vegas, sets the tone for the year's product launches and the trends are here for all to see. 3D is taking a backseat while 4K comes centre stage, tablets are here to stay and bigger than ever, the race to develop next-gen mobile processors is really heating up, and the next games console war isn't going to be limited to set-top boxes from Microsoft and Sony.
