Introduction

MESH Titan X1800 FIRE system

Gamers who want the fastest framerates now have two viable multi-GPU technologies to consider. On the one hand, there's NVIDIA's SLI, which allows you to connect two or more GeForce 6/7xxx-series cards in tandem for increased rendering speed that will come in handy with shader-heavy titles run at high resolutions and high degrees of image quality. Both multi-GPU offerings require a certified motherboard and two or more certified cards, so it's a significant investment.

MESH, purveyors of PCs for nearly 20 years now, has opted to showcase the talents of CrossFire with its Titan X1800 FIRE system. Utilising two high-end ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB cards in tandem, the system promises to spectacularly fast in 3D applications. The question is, does it also stack-up in other important areas. Let's find out.
