Ignoring the typical 'it works or it doesn't' approach taken by most Android apps when it comes to cross-device and cross OS-compatibility, Sky has been limiting its Sky Go internet TV streaming app to a select few Android handsets.

Making matters worse, until now, the firm hasn't supported Google's Android 4.0 'Ice Cream Sandwich' OS. This has meant that even for certified/supported devices, users who have taken the initiative to upgrade to the latest OS would have lost the ability to use Sky Go on their handsets. Likewise, new handsets launching with Android 4.0 from the outset were left wanting.

How much is Sky getting in “Marketing Incentives” from Apple again?
I've had Sky Go installed on my device since I updated to ICS soon after Orange released it for the SII, been a couple of months or so…
Sky Go is supposed to go live at the end of the month on ICS so the forums have stated, no change for support on any of my devices so far:

HTC One X
HTC EVO 3D
Asus Transformer TF101
I'm really very glad I don't have Sky.
I've also stopped watching Sky News, it makes me sick to see Apple iPhone and iPad spinning around on the screen every 5 minutes #boycottapple
