Dell has updated its range of all-in-one desktop computers with the launch of the Inspiron One 2320.

The new addition, pictured below, is Dell's first 23in all-in-one to be equipped with a second-generation Intel Core processor.

Pricing starts at £699 for Dell's base specification, which includes an Intel Core i3-2100 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and an integrated DVD writer. Going up the performance ladder, a £849 model is also available with an Intel Core i5-2400S processor, 6GB of memory and a Blu-ray combo drive.

Both models are equipped with a discrete 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M graphics card, a 1TB hard disk and a 64-bit install of Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

Factor in the full-HD 23in touchscreen display, HDMI input, eight-in-one memory-card reader, six USB ports and JBL speakers, and you're looking at a well-rounded machine. It's smart-looking, too, and comfortably thinner than last year's Inspiron One 23.

So what's the catch? Well, there's no USB 3.0, and perhaps more importantly, Dell's UK configuration options pale in comparison to what's available elsewhere in the world. For example, while we're limited to Core i5 processors, 6GB of memory and 1TB of storage, US customers can equip the same system with a Core i7 CPU, 8GB of memory and up to 2TB of storage.
