PowerColor has announced a new addition to its HD 6970 family of SKUs - the interestingly named, Devil 13 HD6970.

With 2GB GDDR5 memory onboard, the Devil 13 HD6970 offers a 12-phase VRM for power delivery, and what PowerColor describes as deluxe components, apparently delivering enhanced power frequency, stability and reliability, together with lower operating temperatures. The feature-set also includes onboard voltage measurement points, should you like to dabble with a multimeter, and LED lighting signals which we're told, display GPU workload and are supposed to deliver a stylish experience whilst gaming.

Thanks to an OC switch, the Devil 13 HD6970 offers two speed profiles. In the default profile, the GPU runs at 880MHz, and 1,375MHz (5,500MHz effective) for the GDDR5, whilst in the overclocked profile, these get ramped up to 960MHz and 1,425MHz (5,700MHz effective) respectively.

PowerColor goes on to equip the Devil 13 HD6970 with a dual 92mm fan cooling solution, said to provide a 60 per cent improvement in airflow compared to the use of 80mm fans. Availability is pencilled in for later this month, but there's no word on pricing yet.

Very nice it would look really good in my system on my crosshair 5 boards :)
Looks like it's trying to impersonate an Asus Mars ;)
Specs look good with better cooling and it looks good.
