Synology has announced the availability of its DiskStation Manager 3.2, for owners of DiskStation x08 series models and newer - including the DS210+ we took a look at last year.
The company has prepared a live demo, available via its website, and tells us that DiskStation Manager 3.2 is packed with features that deliver a more efficient, intuitive and rich user experience, in several key areas. These include business convergence and management efficiency, and business mobility, but not neglecting consumer-friendly features such as Photo Station 5 and support for Mac OS X Lion.
There's also mention of a revamped Package Centre - allowing users to locate and install applications effortlessly - and the company's Hybrid RAID offering is now said to prepare volumes for use, up to 95 per cent faster than previously.
