Lian Li has announced its PC-A05FN chassis - offering, what is claimed to be, out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to cooling.

With its mid-tower form factor, the PC-A05FN features a 120mm intake fan - positioned at the top of the rear panel - and a 120mm exhaust fan, which finds itself located on the front panel, in front of the HDD bay. The PSU bay is also located at the front of the chassis, and for additional cooling, there's accommodation for a 140mm fan along the top panel, and venting too. As usual, Lian Li also includes two rubber-lined holes on the rear panel, allowing for flexibility with the installation of liquid cooling solutions.

The PC-A05FN provides three 3.5in and two 2.5in bays internally, plus a single 3.5in and two external 5.25in bays. Graphics cards up to 280mm in length are supported.

With availability signalled for later this month, pricing will come in at an MSRP of $119 USD, excluding taxes.

Its quite a neat idea allowing for a much shorter case, not sure about the wisdom of it as graphic cards are gear for blowing out the back and the hard drives will get warm air over them with a front exit. Frankly though I don't understand why no cases seem to put the PSU over CPU any more, Ok you can't pick an after market monster of a CPU fan, but people who get one of those normally buy a larger case anyway.
Not much different from PC-A05NB apart from USB and audio moved from the top to the front: http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1067.html Oh and the slots moved from top to bottom - OK maybe a slight difference :)
Was gonna say, it's a “right way round” version of the A05NB (Which I have, and confess it's bloody good).
I've got a modified A05NB with a couple of extra side mounted fans. It's a great case, especially considering the size. The short height and back to front airflow is ideal for mounting under a desk.
