Gigabyte has launched its ECO600 wireless laser mouse today - with an interesting claim attached.
Featuring a 2.4GHz wireless laser tracking engine, and on-the-fly adjustable DPI (800/1200/1600), battery life is quoted by the manufacturer as being up to 12 months in duration.
The USB receiver is of the nano-variety, and Gigabyte tells us that the ECO600 - as the name suggests - not only saves on battery costs, but is also environmentally friendly too thanks to its reduced energy consumption. From a usability point of view, there's an ergonomic design, and five programmable buttons to add to the mix.
