It may be the Vertex 3 and its Max IOPS brethren ruling the roost, but that hasn't stopped OCZ Technology from spearheading the marketplace with some fresh options.

Kicking off with the Agility 3 - available in convenient 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities - you've got a SATA 6Gbps interface and SandForce SF-2200 SSD processor, churning out maximum sequential read/write speeds of up to 525MB/s and 475MB/s (60GB), or 525MB/s and 500MB/s (120GB and 240GB), respectively.

The Solid 3 - available in 60GB and 120GB capacities - again goes with a SATA 6Gbps interface and SandForce SF-2200 SSD processor, to deliver maximum sequential read/write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, respectively, across the range.

Marketed as catering for enthusiasts seeking an optimal price-to-performance ratio, both lines feature TRIM support, as expected, and ship with a 3-year warranty.

Looking pretty decent. Been sitting on the bench for a 120GB SSD to become a bit more affordable. Which brings me to any word on pricing?

This.
Stupidly tempting at that price, but will there be a noticeable difference over a sata2 drive?
