Sapphire is going for true suppleness with the extension of its FleX line of graphics solutions, which now brews into an HD 6950 powered option.

In an Eyefinity environment, Sapphire's FleX Edition SKUs cosy up with three DVI monitors by negating the requirement for the third monitor to utilise DisplayPort connectivity - either natively, or through the use of an active adapter. Instead, two of the three monitors connect directly via DVI, with the third conforming with HDMI connectivity via an included HDMI-to-DVI cable. This, according to Sapphire, presents an effective solution for the use of three low-cost DVI displays, which require no additional hardware.

Whilst factory-delivered clock speeds remain in line with reference solutions - 800MHz and 1,250MHz (5,000MHz effective) on the GPU and 2GB GDDR5, respectively, Sapphire's custom Vapor-X technology makes an appearance to keep temperatures from reaching heady-heights.

A Dual BIOS feature is also advertised to allow for the twiddling of BIOS settings, and you can get up to some TriXX with Sapphire's overclocking software that is available via free download.
