MSI has windmills working overtime with the push of its N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II 1GD5/OC graphics card, fed by NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPU.

Locked inside the Cyclone II thermal solution is MSI's Propeller Blade technology which, hand-in-hand with the 9cm PWM fan solution, claims to deliver a 20 per cent increase in airflow compared to traditional fans. There are radiator fins aplenty, thanks to the nickel-plated copper heatsink unit, with MSI highlighting that this cool concoction delivers a full-load scenario temperature improvement of 23°C when sparring against reference cooling.

Performance wise, the company feels confident in endowing its new baby with a core clock speed of 950MHz, combined with 4,300MHz for the 1,024MB GDDR5 onboard memory. If overclocking is part of your mastery, you'll find support for MSI's Afterburner overclocking utility, allowing you to dabble in all the arts from voltage control to fan speed manipulation too.

A Military Class Concept is also watching your back, with the N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II 1GD5/OC kitted out to deliver a powerful, yet stable user experience.
